Always felt that this was the heaviest song ever recorded:

Billie Holliday - Strange Fruit

Yeah man. Floor is ridiculous... their riffs sound as heavy as an avalanche. Check out their two albums. They recently did some shows but I'm unsure whether or not they're going to continue touring/playing... I'd love to see this band in person

Wow never though I would like doom, but Floor is awesome!

No low pitched grunting ****, just someone yelling while being drowned in a heavy mass of guitar and bass noise.... love it!

Sounds like you'd like a lot of doom then... check out The Melvins (Houdini, Gluey Porch Treatments) Sleep (Holy Mountain album)... check out later Earth also (this is different than Floor or the other two bands... it's weird sort-of psychedelic drone... check out the album The Bees Made Honey In The Lion's Skull) Also check out the 2nd half of Black Flag's My War album! It's not really doom but it's heavy and slow and just ****ing great

edit: I've gotta stop using so many ellipses.

The beginning of this song reminds me of "Slaves and Bulldozers" by Soundgarden....can't believe that was 20 years ago.

Some newer stuff like this is Black Sheep Wall or Kowloon Walled City.

Dopethrone is king of kings though.

I've really tried to get into this song on a number of occasions. People seem to be buzzing about it all of the time.

Sounds like blown speakers to me. I bet it's awesome live though.

My favorite in doomy realms is Graves at Sea
