So, that's another obscure band: Crime in Choir.

I swear that the drummer for Hella is on speed! That guy IS "frickin' AMAZING", though.

Talking about amazing drummers from obscure bands anyone here familiar with "Confessor". Only one album, "Condemmed" on the Earache label. Awesome stuff (kinda thrash/Doom)

More bands:

-Bats And Mice(lots of indie bands like mice...folksy,wistful, pop-rock.)
-Sleepytime Trio (Back in the day it was called emo, now it's called "%(^* turn that down!")
-Black Cross (southern Hardcore, singer sounds like the guy in Avail, was in By the Grace of God, I think. Worth checking out)
-The Lords[of Louisville](dirty rockcore, with metal leanings)

Skerik's Syncopated Taint Septet - Awesome Drummer John Wicks, cool guy as well

Soulive - becoming more popular, as well they should, incredible musicians.

Maktub - Good soulish stuff, Reggie Watts has a great voice - hes also done some colaborations with Soulive.

Keller Williams - gotta see this guy to really appreciate him I think.

Charlie Hunter - same as Keller, gotta see him.

Robert Randolph - recently had an insurgence of popularity, but these guys been rocking for a good while now. Danyel is an incredible bassist.
