Seen a lot of discussion threads about finding new metal bands with great bassists, haven't seen any mention of The Ocean and their great bassist Louis Jucker.
Guy has chops for days but never overplays, has a killer tone with either pick or fingers, clean or OD, fretted or fretless.
Are people just not hip to this band/bassist?
Even non metal heads should appreciate the last two records, the new addition of lots of clean vocals from the new singer should appeal to more traditional prog guys. Tons of strings/horns/electronics all over these amazing albums.
