Ocean's thirteen movie soundtrack

Sign in to disble this ad
Ok I just watched ocean's eleven, decided to go listen to the Ocean movies' soundtracks, and they were NICE!

so, I decided to try music that sounds the same, but is still bass-heavy, like the soundtrack

any suggestions? what genre would you call the music?

http://www.myspace.com/oceans13soundtrack for some samples

any band names or links would be appreciated,
thanks in advance

I won't dare to define it but I was wowed my the music in 13 as well. Almost better than the film itself.

I could be wrong, but didn't our own JMJ have a hand in the writing/orchestration/something or other of this soundtrack?

a few years ago i was heavily into "air" - a french, jazz/lounge (kinda/sorta) group that had a similar vibe. either way, i love this music!

i sincerely hope i didn't destroy your vision of the musical genre... but these are just some of the ideas that came to mind when i listened to the ST.
