THE INTRO'S IN MORSE CODE! Now I can remember the timing!
Am I the only person that it took upwards of years for them to find that out? |

Really amazing actually, yet kind of nerdy

Edit: darn, just been skipped by tplyons

Really amazing actually, yet kind of nerdy | Rush is a very nirdy band, as is led zep. Neal pert went to a high school around here, not sure which one though. Wasn't mine, only well known musician to come out of my school is david vulmer, the lead singer from helix.

Peart went to Lakeport high in St. Catharines.
They even have a little shrine dedicated to him haha.

He was a total rush nerd and I was trambling about how random that intro riff is, and he told me it was morse for 'YYZ' over and over. And then I opened my eyes to how wild rush is..
Its wild, Peart grew up 15 minutes away from my fruity town.

| I'm old too but I never knew this!?!?
I didn't know YYZ was Toronto's airport code until about 10 years after Moving Pictures was released. I was actually on a rental car shuttle in San Diego Airport 1991 and saw the luggage of some folks from Toronto ...I actually asked them where they were from. then it all made sense!)
I think most musicians are kinda nerdy. It's a good thing. |
