here ya go..........you can listen to both but the one i'm directing you specifically to is the manic depression cover
my guitar player decided to mix it like the original, hence the panning of the drums and guitars
the solo goes a bit out of time but its a gig gettermanic depression

What did you use to record etc.....give us the goods!!

Sounds good. Bass needs to cut thru a bit more.

yeah i'm not happy with the bass level in the mix but i think my guitar player was trying to copy the original recording
plus he needs some help learning to use frequency slotting and realizing that the bass should be audible - but why shold he listen to me???

i used a 1986 tobias 4 string thru an alembic f-1x and sf-2 and i think that went thru a UA compressor, the guitar is a fender relic strat and i belive it's thru a bogner exctasy 100 watt head into a greenback loaded cab, but it could have been a blockhead 100 watt super lead plexi. I'm not sure which kit the drummer used that day.
