One off funky gems of the 70's.

So here I was playing Test Drive Unlimited (video game) and on comes this tune I never herd before: Funk #49 by James Gang. I did some investigating and it's like this 70's rock band. The tune was like one of only a couple of funky numbers they ever did. But man this tune is FUNKY! I could listen to it over and over again.

So anyone else know some sweet funky tracks by 70's rock bands?

I laughed out loud at this, especially the bold text. Although, it did make me feel a bit old.
I do love this song though. The cover band I'm in does this song. It's fun.

Little Feat - Spanish Moon
Jeff Beck with Jan Hammer - Earth (Still Our Only Home)
Rolling Stones - Bitch
The Blasters - I'm Shakin'
Deep Purple -Lazy
The Doors - Break on Through
Jimi Hendrix - Rainy Day Dream Away
Queen - Dragon Attack
Robert Palmer - Sneaking Sally Through the Alley
Talking Heads - Take Me to the River

These are funky in a rock kinda way. Of course - If you want some real funky stuff listen to some Curtis Mayfield or Temptations.

I remember this Led Zep tune that reminded me of the Chili Peppers. Can't remember it now, any ideas?

FYI; It's the James Gang. Joe Walsh! Awsome tune! Have to think about "similar", but that's a good tune!

I stopped playing Test Drive until the next patch comes out after my brother and I found out the hard way about save game files corrupting.

My bro lost like 50 hours of effort that he'd spent over several weeks on the game and then it all disappeared and all Atari have to say is; "oh... yea... we forgot to tell you about that... but we'll fix it sometime..."

I hate paying for damn games when you get them just to realise they aren't even in a stage ready to have been released/published.

And as for music on the game... theres like 10 songs which repeat for hours on end. Not cool.
