Try iTunes or Cleaner, those are the video compressors I use, but there are others. Remember to shrink the screen size, the resolution, and the audio quality. |

possible big hint: when i went to compress my file, i found that there were screen freezes in it! p!ssed me off. i learned that having your computer's processor read the file while at the same time writing the new file was the cause. i had to connect an external hard drive and i wrote the new file to that. it saved me in the "11th hour."
good luck!!

or, can you get access to a mac? i was looking at iMovie's help files, and you can set expert export settings to make a mpeg4 or even a smaller quicktime file.

do you want me to stick around for questions? i am no expert, but i can try to keep an eye on this thread.

It will convert basically any type file. We convert a lot of video files into different file types. You can control the screen size, frames per second, etc....
It will compress the file as well. Pretty straightforward.
Check it out.

hope that makes sense. i am working off memory. if you are comfortable with video software, it should make sense when you see it.

Check it out. | that software looks nice. but as soon as i went to the site, it started downloading a file called "sa.aspx" without asking first. am i old fashioned? i like to be asked first.
i am not that easy, despite what some may say.

I think Cleaner does a better compression job overall, but Streamclip is faster and easier to use... they each have their place. |
