Blood Run Cold was very nice. Ambient. I could easily listen to that while driving on a motorway. The heavy reverb on the vocals reminded me of playing Assassin's Creed, and I know there are more than a few young ladies who would love that

Fire and Ice and What You Want had a very distinctive sound. Sort of like Nine Inch Nails with a certain indie style. At times I was getting ready for it to explode and kick off, so unless that was intentional, you may want to work on the structure a bit.

In other words, good stuff.

Listening through not terrible headphones...

Blood Run Cold - Vocals too low, bass too high. Otherwise, cool. Kinda 80s new-wave ish

Fire and Ice - Vocals are too low, synth is too high in the mix on this one. Hat is a little high in the mix too.

What You Want - Vocals good level! Snare is a bit too high & drums in general can probably come down except for the kick. Synth solo is a little high.

It's cool though. Like I said, kinda 80s new wavish & I dig that stuff from time to time.

Yeah definitely an early 80's vibe (in a good 'alternative' sense rather than the 'cheezy' way)..

I think that the level of the vocals is fine mostly, as this kind of music often has slightly quieter vocals.

Are you double-tracking the vocals? It sounds like it's a bit loose if it is, either ditch that or get tighter.

Yeah sometimes the open high hats(?) overpower the rest of it, and on those big choruses you need more vocal or guitars to give a bigger tone.

Sometimes the drum fills spoil the feel as they are not dead tight.. again it's better to be tight than complicated.

The synth solo's have a good sound but need to be worked out and defined a bit more, take you somewhere rather than just wibble about - I realise its a demo, so I'm sure you'll fix that up. It's great to hear a synth solo though, I love em!

That said, I liked the sound of it a lot - for a demo it's good - I'd really like to hear more!
