I've just started learning this album by ear, and I'm not quite sure what tuning they're playing in. I tried playing it in standard tuning, but I think they probably tune down at least half a step. Does anybody know for sure? (Also is tuning consistent throughout the album or do they change a lot?)

It's been years since I've played with that CD, but if I remember right, most of it was tuned down a half step, then alot of it in Drop-D.

I don't know that particular record, but some albums are pitched as a whole, e.g. Extreme's Pornograffitti IIRC, even when the band recorded it in standard tuning, you might have to tune more flat or sharp.

But I guess they tune down...
