This is a link to a song that my friend and I wrote and recorded on the school grounds. It all happened within a few hours for some fun. It’s about a young man growing up and making decisions about his favourite vegetable. The Yam.

Please enjoy, may I also point out it sound its best after about one minute into the song. Thats when it shines.

And of course the lyrics:

Yams
By The Chins

Is it possible?
May I borrow your yam?
Oh yes I can
Oh yes I can

Will Jordan
Ever eat
His delicious
Yam, yam, yam, yam
Yam, yam, yam, yam

This is for sure
The juiciest of
The yams
The finest yam
The finest yaaaaaaaaaam

Will he ever taste it again?
Will his lips marry?
The delicious flavour
The taste of a fine yam

If there was anything more
Yamable I don’t want to taste it
You’re the spud for me
You’re the sweet potato of my dreams

Many thanks Atari0!

Let me be who I am
And let me kick out the Yams

... That's... something alright...

It's a tad loosey goosey, and I'm fairly sure someone's not in tune with somebody... who's not in tune with somebody... or something. Well, it kinda reminds me of Fleetwood Mac meets Destiny's Child meets Thanksgiving meets The Flaming Lips meets... alright, I'm done. So, C+ for effort.

I think it's the fact that everyone's out of tune. From the guitar, to the bass, to the off-key singing.

B- for effort. I liked the singer's vibrato. If he could sing in key, you could really use him.
