Well, as it seems I do every so often, I'm going to post my music. I would love to hear what some fellow bassists think of it - I don't tend to get much feedback, let alone from fellow bassists.

Thanks in advance

Sounds nice. Very mellow and relaxing. I liked "Take" the best, nice delay sound there. I like how the delay part is also kind of the percussion part.

Thanks man. "Take" is the one that I expected people to like the least - it's kinda trippy and avant-garde.

And before anyone mentions it, yes, I know that my production is not great, but this is what I get for owning cheap basses and recording direct line-in to my pc

I thought the production was pretty good. I find that mixing, eqing and all that stuff very difficult to get right. It's been really hit and miss for me I know that much. What kind of basses are you using? I thought they sounded pretty dang good. As for the trippy avant-garde stuff - the trippier the better as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks mate, very kind words. For all the tunes on there except for parts of "Two" I used a Samick J bass copy. The Samick changes tunings a lot, but the more frequent tunings are standard tenor tuning (ADGC), FCGD, and FCGE. The lower sounding bits in "Two" are played on my J&D Luthiers JD2400 bass in standard tuning.

EDIT: Just realised that "Two" isn't on the page anymore

All of these were recorded on my Samick J Bass Copy, then.

Here's a list of the tunings

Cry Baby: Standard tenor tuning
One Small Something: ADGBb
Space: FCGE
Take: I can't actually remember.... it was a very on the spot recording.

And just for those who are interested, there's a few more recordings on my SoundClick page. With the exception of "Deluded" they are really just experiment tracks, and hence not worth putting on the MySpace page
