Our first music video

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys, just throwing this up incase anyones interested. Its our first video, done on a very low budget. Its cheesy as hell but we had immense fun recording it. Even if you don't like the music, gives you a chance to see some of our lovely Irish scenery!

Feedback very much appreciated.

Slightly rolled off on extreme lows and highs, 5khz pulled back almost totally, slightly boosted on other lows and upper mids, boosted low mids, mids are flat.

nice job...and I agree, the countryside is beautiful! The music is not really my thing, but I can appreciate the work you put into it. well done...

If I was to provide feedback (which I'm only doing because you ask), i'd suggest trying a couple of things to see how they feel to you and the rest of the band:

1. have the drummer back off on the constant triplet kick drum feel, and use that only in certain sections in the tune to really acsent them. but again..thats just me...

2. vocally, I would add a bit effect to his voice (delay/verb maybe)...and bring it up just slightly...

Nice job on the Bass part...I like your tone, and feel for the song...well done.

Thanks Fishtx, feedback is all appreciated, mostly looking for feedback on the video itself at the minute, but musical feedback is always appreciated. Easiest way to get better is to listen to the guys on here. A lot of you know more about your instrument and recording music than I ever will!

Verb on the vocals would be a nice touch.... but not entirely necessary.

Dude with the fro was AWESOME. As was the entire fantasy sequence.

The band performance thing needs more energy. Especially the drummer. Shes hawt, but needs to headbang some. The singer might wanna use 2 hands on the mic sometimes to. 2 hands = epix. You all need to be a little more animated.

Bass was awesome sounding tho. Keep that tone. Never let it go.
Good first video!

You see we've been promoting the CD with the audio recording of that song on it for a few months now and people being as obsessed with lead guitar and vocals as they are, there have only been passing comments on the bass work.

Finally, some people who listen to bass and can give me feedback on that!

Unfortunately the drummer is taken Daniel, but I'll let her know about you if she frees up!
