i can't give much feedback considering i had to listen to it very quietly(the old lady is asleep), but what i could hear sounded pretty sweet. i will revisit it tomorrow when i can crank it a bit.

I honestly loved the music...maybe not so much the screaming. But that's just my opinion.

I really like it! I`m a huge fan of glassjaw,pg.99,majority rule etc, etc. I`m digging it! I like every thing I`m hearing! How many more songs do you have? Do you play out at all?

Thanks for the honest opinion. A lot of people aren't into the screaming, I understand it's not very pleasant haha. I think the reason we decided to have harsh vocals is cause we've been playing hardcore/punk since our early high school years and its just something we've grown accustomed to hearing, and with this kind of music it fits in pretty well. I appreciate your feedback though!

Wow thanks for the kind words, so far all we have is the 10 songs on our bandcamp page and those two new songs on soundcloud. We've only played two shows locally but are hoping to start playing more often and farther from home, I guess time will tell!

Way back when I was in my first band our one guitarist did lead vocals and I did back up vocals. But when I say vocals I really mean high pitch spastic screaming a la Saetia/Hot Cross and deep guttural yelling( Majority Rule ish). A lot of people liked our demo that we passed around(in its very own silk screened paper bag) but couldn`t get pass our vocal style, which to us was the most natural thing to do for our music.
I guess it boils down to what,if any, scene you were involved in/radio station you most listed to/Mtv/whatever style you grew up in.
You can`t please every one all the time but as long as the music is good, well that`s all that matters!

Yes! agreed, i usually show my girlfriend my music without vocals first cause most likely (unless it's black metal) she enjoys it. Then eventually when she hears the vocals she doesn't care for it anymore, haha. It's just how it goes, if I were concerned with what other people thought, my music wouldn't sound genuine. I believe in being selfish when writing music and doing what you want to hear cause ultimately, if you're not proud of what you do, it's a waste of time.
