His playing on Miles Davis's Kind of Blue changed my life!

I got the Mosaic 3-CD box set which includes this album and just about everything he recorded as leader!

As to other stuff - there is vast choice available - Motor City Scene complete recordings?

Favourite moments - probably with Oliver Nelson on Blues and the Abstract Truth - esp. Stolen Moments!

There are so many Paul Chambers records out there. A great bass player which few mention on a regular basis. I never really heard Chambers playing bad on any record he plays on. Talk about melodic playing.

He gets mentioned around here a lot - if you do a search on his name - you can get 400 threads straight away and that's only due to the limits set by the search feature - there are far more!
