Performance night at the Bitter End. June 23

I'm working on a few songs for an up comming Studio Workshop where a few studio members get together for four 2 hour rehersals and then perform at The Bitter End in Manhattan. This is my second one.

"Route 66" by the Stones was the first one in my sights to learn and I've got it now. What a hard labor of love it was to learn but I've got it now. The last part I learned was a backwards chromatic scale with a passing tone thrown in.

"Steal Away" is my favorite and its done by Etta James. The Bass lines a pretty simple but it still takes alot of effort and concentration (which my wife doesn't understand) to learn. There's also "The Breeze" by Skynyrd and "Whipping Post" by the Allman Brothers. "Sweet Home Chicago" by the Blues brothers too. I mention these songs because they all have very difinitive and audible bass lines (except "Route66"). That makes me happy because I'm not going to just be playing blended in bass lines. I'll be standing out some. Confidence is no problem.

The rest are just simple blues tunes that should prove to be fun to play.
