Has anybody transcribed this line off John Mayer's live trio CD? I'm struggling to hear all of Pino's notes...but it grooves so hard that I don't want to quit just yet!

Aren't Jamerson, Ray Brown, Chuck Rainey, etc.... also all about "feel"... I've leared to play by transcribing them! |

You can get the "notes" he plays..
But his style is pretty simple..
Where he puts the notes is what counts in my humble opinion. |

Nicely done!
Pretty much a pentatonic scale in "A" with a couple "off" chords.
Like I said "FEEL"
Learn the basic blues scale and listen...You'll get it..
He is improvising through the whole thing ...bassicaly! |
