Please critique this mix...

Hello, I was hoping some fellow talkbass members, who like to critique others, could help my band and I get some feedback on our latest recording adventure.

A little info. We are very amateur when it comes to recording, we have a mixing board, and we record everything through one mic and we have four mics on the kit. We recorded this song over two to three weeks time, essentially after practices. Each person lays their part on top of each others. The bass is going into a VT Deluxe, and then directly into the GK MB212 amp, with a shure mic about 1.5 inches away. I actually feel like at the moment I am currently happy with the tone I chose on this particular song.

We have been playing together for about a year and a half and gigging out for about a year. The song was recorded in a garage turned into a practice space turned into a temporary recording space.

I have put up two tracks to hear, one is just the bass and drums and the other is the latest full band mix. Please let me know what you guys think that might help me either make the mix sound better, make me play better, etc. I would really like some good 'ol critiquing.

I like the mix, sounds a little Van Morrision ish, I think your turn arounds between verses are two long. Waiting for the next line for 4 measures feels too long for my taste. I did not listen to the whole track because of that.
IMHO
Nice work though
