Please give me your impression of this bass tone

Still in the mixing process.
Wanted to achieve an aggressive tone without a pick.

Sounding great! I don't understand a word of it, but it certainly sounds like there's lots of emotion. Maybe put a little more of an EQ notch in the guitars to let some more of the bass attack to come through? Or pull down the mid/center of the chugging guitar a bit and bump up the sides. Towards the last chorus the bass is really disappearing.

Sounds amazing. I do actually understand the song (not Hispanic/Spanish, but I live in NYC so I'm different =) This is a GREAT track! I love the fills that you throw in, they fit the song perfectly!

Thanks for your kind replies.
As said before, we`re still working on the final mix.

I wanted to achieve exactly that tone and the W al MKI fits perfectly. It`s recorded straight to the board with just a bit of Overdrive.

Sure.
I'll try to obtain the bass (and bass and drum) tracks from the studio.

Thanks for the compliment.

Aggresive bass tone without a pick is very possible. Many pro players do it routinely.

And you seem to have it going on. Well done.

Please share with us your bass/string/signal chain for those who might want to get this tone.

Yeah, you kid of get buried in the mix. Try cutting the lows/lowmids of the guitars and boosting yours a little bit. But the tone itself is pretty nailing it! Good job!

Your opening lick, including the tone, reminded me of this:

Good times!

Sounds great, bro!
