Hey guys/gals!
I notice a lot of people throw their bands up here to ask for feedback and I want to do just that.

I think we have a pretty original sound - at least to the extent of not ripping anyone off...we're starting to get bigger gigs and writeups around Chicago.

If you have a moment, please give us a listen and let me know what you think. Good or bad "constructive" criticism, we can take it!!!

Thanks!
Dave

overall, i thought the songs were okay. infact, i think you guys could write some really catchy stuff (void was my favorite). my main issue was that you guys are kind of only half commited into the whole "neo-new wave" sound. i mean, you've got synth parts and dancy dancy parts going, but you've also got rythmic, and chord, variations that kind of break-up all that and some parts that just don't exactly fit (in my opinion). i don't know, i was just kind of left feeling like "uhh". you guys certainly aren't bad at all, i would probably check out a set.

Well.
I would categorize it as pop.

The over all sound is catchy, it gets moving. I guess being 24 maybe its to "young" for me. I bet a lot fo teen girls where I live would love it!

The look and sound of the band says to me... we are kind of emo/new generation rock but not enough to get called that...but just enough to maybe draw that crowd.

I can't stand your singer. I wish he would lay of the vibrato and drama.

Bass and mix in general sound good. Nice bass lines on the first song that popped up for me...can't recall the title.

I like the effects/synth type stuff going on in some places. Sometimes it seems to ad nothing to the song.

I don't like the tone of the guitar so much. Wish it had some more balls. It makes the music seem wimpy.

Appreciate everyones feedback so far!

Just the kind of constructive criticism I've been looking for!

We're heading into the studio to spend a good amount of time on a 3 song "single" and release MP3's from there-on.

It's nice to know what my fellow bass players think.
Can't wait to get the new songs recorded, I think it will surprise everyone!

I listened to all 4 songs. The first one, "Void" was alright, but I thought the structure was a little weak. The drums during the chorus didn't feel right. On the refrain after the bridge, it sounded much better. Actually, starting with the bridge, I thought the drums in that song were very impressive. The 2nd song, "Every Corner" was better. The third song, "Cry" was pretty awesome. And "Waitress Waitress" was really good too.

Based on the number of plays your site claims for each song, I think you've totally got them out of order. "Cry" is probably the strongest song on there, while "Void" is the weakest.

I'd maybe buy an album. Bet it sounds good on vinyl.

Very pop. For some reason i got 80's vibes from the song Void.
