Hey people. Does anyone dig Poogie, i have always been a fan of his back ground influence........... he is the man to hold down a groove for sure...... Im sure he must be known on here.Think Marcus, Chaka, Erika Badu , Victor B, drummer/s,.. It is 4.50 am UK time and listening to 'Thinking outside the Box' Open Spaces..

People who usually listen to 'Masters at Work' at my place'... have come round to the P this morning. they should have known damn cats

Poogie is a stone cold groove machine. Been diggin' him with Marcus for years. If you haven't already be sure to check out Dennis Chambers too.

Because I dug his work with Marcus, I picked up a couple of Poogie's CDs from CD-Baby, I wasn't disappointed!

Man, I remember about a year back when I was just starting out on bass I went to a local jam and Kevin Barefoot and Howie Alexander from Poogie's band were up playing with some other guys. I sat for about an hour or two just watching them play. Kevin told me that the stage was open if I wanted to play but I was too terrified to even consider it. Maybe some day.

I started diggin' on Poogie back when he was jammin' with the French pianist Alex Bugnon. Since then, I was and still a Poogie Bell fan.

Mr. Pocket is what his name should be.
