I have always want to see if I could write a commercial/pop instrumental with the electric bass playing the melody. The song "A New Dime" is what I came up with. Its listed in the World/Other catagory. I used my six string bass to play the melody/lead and a Peavey Cyber Bass (4 string bass with midi capabilities) to play all the synth parts.
