So I heard this band on the radio this morning doing an acoustic set (acoustic guitar, vocals, electric bass) and I absolutely loved the guy's bass tone. I looked them up and it seems that he uses a Warwick $$, but I have no idea what effects or eq he uses to get the tone.

The sound I'm talking about is a really deep, rolling tone... when I heard them on the radio I thought for sure it was a low-b he was hitting, but he plays a 4 string in drop d. It sounds way lower than d though. Anyone have any input on how to get a similar tone?
