I used to use mini disc a great deal to record practices, gigs, jams etc.. nw my minidisc player has packed up I want something small & portable to record live music with

The M-audio comes with a sperate mic, plus I already have a Sony stereo condenser mic, so I dont reallyneed the built-in mics the edirol provides... but I guess that option would be handy.
My feeling so far is toward the M-Audio - from reading the web site details it seems easier to use.. plus the M-Audio web site works.. a poor web site isnt exactly a great inspiration to buy a product
So, any experiences to help me make this decision very welcome!! And if anyone knows of any other similar devices, please advise
