Hi,
I modded a Marcus Miller Jazz bass with sadowsky pickups and a U-Retro unit. I took me a while (and money) to find a combination that worked well for me in this bass.
I am currently modding 2 more jazz basses trying various pickups and bass combinations. It is one thing to read reviews on how the equipment is supposed to sound, much better to hear it if possible.
I like to hear other recording of jazz basses....stock or modded.
If anyone has MP3's of their fender jazz basses, please post link, MP3 intro and a description of the bass.
