Pro Tools. Anyone else VERY unhappy with the new Avid Page?

I don't know what forum to post this in. I guess I figured anyone checking out the recording forum would take a look. But this is certainly a miscellaneous thread since it's not bass specific.

Anyway... I'm having trouble installing a plugin on my home studio Pro Tools rig. The new Avid site is AWFUL!!!!! There's no way to ask a simple question without paying for a support code. PAYING for customer service!!! You've got to be kidding me!!!

I've posted my problem on the Avid forum and no response.

I will NOT pay for customer service. EVER!!!

Do not just say "use Logic". I will not use Logic. That program is clunky and impossible to use. Those of us that are Pro Tools users are notoriously awful on Logic. That's not an option.

I've spent so much money over the years on Pro Tools that I'd like to keep it if I can. Generally I really like it. Just really unhappy with the company that owns it now.

Anyone have this same complaint? Any ideas how to get the word to them that we're unhappy?
