The Prophecy- Immortal Technique. This song is GREAT

WARNING: This song has clear cursing. This is aggressive rap. If you're not into it, than don't listen because it is extreme. Do NOT listen to this on speakers around children either.

That said, this doesn't have a lot of bass either. I'm posting it here because the lyrics are just great IMO.

Here's a link to a youtube video which is just a picture with the track playing:

Here's a link to the lyrics that I can't post here:

That's what I thought. I love how the last two lines elevate the song to just sheer epicness at the end.

Meh. I don't get it. I've heard a ton of songs with a similar flow and content. "I'm awesome/You can't kill me", kay, got it.

There was one line that I thought was pretty cool, "Like retarded kids throwing ice cubes at the sun". But his delivery was really bad, his production was a five minute GarageBand job, and his voice just doesn't convey the kind of power his words do. Overall, I thought it was crap. I can pick any random track from the Wu-Tang library and it will put this guy to shame - not just from a production standpoint, but from a delivery and innovative glossary standpoint as well. There is good and innovative hip-hop out there that grabs you by the collar and shakes you until you think, but this ain't it.

lowest common denominator dribble

30 years ago, people would have said where is the rest of the song?, the beat is barely developed there is no rhythm no melody and the lyrics are those of a mal developed cras individual

its stupid to invest your valuable time in this, there is nothing to be gained

not music

maybe it's just me....

he could have shortened it up about 3:10 and just said "i have anger issues" while only playing that loop once.

I guess i just don't really understand this stuff.

the quality isn't that great because he rejects major record label offers. he's self produced. some of his other stuff is produced better and more "catchy" (for those who are into that kind of thing). most of his songs have a clear message behind them and if you actually took the time to listen to some of his other stuff you would realized that he isn't a "mal developed cras (sic) individual". at least it isn't soulja boy, right?

Oh no anger! You can't express emotion in music!
