Purple Haze Bass Cover

Recorded with my StealthPlug... sounds damn nice too. I did a cover of Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix on bass. Pretty simple, but sounds good. Tell me what you think. I enter in at 5 seconds in so you can tell a huge difference, I played with a pretty aggressive fingerstyle attack, with my mids/tone boosted a bit.

Seriously though: you're so well tucked into the mix that it's bit hard to make out where Noel Redding ends and you begin! It's a shame, because I'd really like to hear what you're doing.

If you fancy doing a new recording, try shoving Jimi+Co over to one channel and stick yourself on the other. That way, folks can isolate you if they want to.

I could re-record and change up my tone or just turn down the song itself and raise the volume level on my bass track.
