Putting album out for sale online - how to do it??

Sign in to disble this ad
My band is just about to do a recording with a mind to putting a CD out.

However, many people are now saying to me - put it out online, sell it that way.

Now, I am behind the times with this, and have only ever downloaded one tune from itunes myself, so what I'd like to know is: what sites have you used for selling your music, recommendantions and even ones to avoid.

Basicly what I envision is a couple of "free" tracks then a dollar per track after that or $10 for the whole thing, maybe with some downloadable sleave notes and lyrics and artwork. Is this possible?

I don't know if this has been asked before, so apolgies if it has.

Many many thanks!

Try Discmakers.
They have a package deal for making cd's, and worldwide web distribution on tons of sites. Just did it for my band.
