Hey guys...
I've been recording bass tracks from my new electronic project all week and towards the end of today I realised the last groove I was working to worked surprisingly well for some old school funk kinda stuff so grabbed the camera and blasted out 30 seconds.
I know this is super simple, but it sounds great and makes me smile!
Beat is from Canadian Producer/MC, Waatu who I'm working on an album with. Recorded with an old Yamaha RBX375 (only thing that was at hand) into my EBS Fafner which is DI'd into Ableton Live 8 via an old Tascam US-122L. Nothing done (other than loudness) to the tone after the amp.
