Brilliant stuff, heavy and fun at the same time. I love the textures, and the production is outstanding- really live sounding and dynamic. Great bass, and brilliant tones with those lively drums.

Congratulations, you deserve all the success that comes your way!

Hey thanks for the comments!

Yeah I was quite happy with the production - the only thing we spent any money on was the mixing - we got my old friend from school to mix it and he's very talented so he made it sound very good even though our playing could have been a little tighter at the time (was about 9 or 10 months ago we recorded that). It was done on a very low budget, but our drummer runs a decent studio and he actually engineered it.

The radio compression radio one use is brutal - I don't think our track was ready for it - the compression pumping ridiculous! That's not our mix - that's their compression. I think that's one thing we'll have to keep in mind for next time and we might have to prepare edits specifically for Radio so they can make it through that kind of compression ok.

Glad it went across fairly ok though! It was a pretty DIY recording so it's good to know it's possible to get something radio one will play.
