Has no one else noticed this bassline of lovelyness? . This guy is such a tastefully modest player.

Yes, so wonderful.

I would like it if someone who is good at figuring lines out by ear would help us. I never trust myself.

It might not be Colin though, Thom plays alot of bass.

i really like the new radiohead a lot. and the standout overall i think is the bass playing! he's a great player and very underrated. cool tone always too.

I really wish someone would tab out this line becuase I am to lazy and get distracted with other things when I am playing!

Tone comes from a 70's maple P-bass ( maybe with flats I think) and a couple of vintage Jazz basses and I think a Sadowsky Jazz. Played through SVT classic and/or Asdown heads and cabs. Sounds pretty generic but the tone is not.

Obviously some of it comes from the player, but I think there is some tricky engineering going on.
