Rainbow- Long Live Rock 'N' Roll

HOLY CRAP! I've had this on vinyl for 2 years but just got a turntable the other day. It's so good! Great hard rock with lots of different textures and fantastic vocals by Dio. Blackmore shreds too. Anybody into Zep, Dio-era Sabbath, and Deep Purple will LOVE this.

One of my favorite bands, and recordings. Kill the King, and Gates of Babylon are killer tunes. I bought it on vinyl when it was released way back when.

Rainbow is probably one of the best bands ever. Dio is the perfect voice for something so epic: It's like Proto-Power Metal. But sometimes they'll just do a kick ass rock tune.

Totally, totally agreed. "LA Connection" is a slab of '70s hard rock, but "Lady of the Lake" has a wonderful sword-and-sorcery post-Zeppelinism to it.
