Rammstein - Rosenrot/Reise Reise

What solid bass playing by Olie! If the last time you heard Rammstein was "Du Hast" back in 1997, go pick up a copy of Mutter, Rosenrot or Reise Reise. They have lost a little bit of their mechanical sound and moved more toward powerful guitar and bass driven arrangements. Their music really transcends the language barrier, it's just so damn heavy!

Don't speak German? No worries, you'll learn lol.

An absolutely awesome band. I saw them live on the Reise Reise tour and they were bombastic. I was in the second row, I touched the dinghy that Ollie rode into the crowd as it came over my head!

I absolutely love them. They have a new album on the way.

One of the heaviest bands I've ever heard. You can't help but want to put your fist in the air and start singing in German....even thought I have no idea what I'm sayin!

I'm intrigued as to how they got those fat suits!!! Have they enlarged their necks, faces, and arms to make them look huge? Or did they just it cream cakes for a feww months straight before the vid? ;-)

I actually stopped listening to (new) Rammstein after Reise Reise was released. IMO it's a piece of crap, boring songs with muddy overall tone and absolutely no new ideas. Can't help it, I hate those two albums - they killed the Rammstein I used to love; Sehnsucht and Mutter are on my "Top 10 Best Albums Ever" list.

Then again, almost every single great 90s band that I used to love have failed more or less... Marilyn Manson, Korn, Nine Inch Nails, The Prodigy...

Korn, NIN, MM all suck the knob now, you are right about that. It's really hard to make the same album over and over, unless you are AC/DC.

I still warm up playing "Seeman" all the time. Great band and the best live show I've ever witnessed.

In former day there was Gene Simmons spitting fire..
I really can tell you, standing next to the Rammstein stage and watching their flames shot over your head makes you SWEAT! :-)
