What solid bass playing by Olie! If the last time you heard Rammstein was "Du Hast" back in 1997, go pick up a copy of Mutter, Rosenrot or Reise Reise. They have lost a little bit of their mechanical sound and moved more toward powerful guitar and bass driven arrangements. Their music really transcends the language barrier, it's just so damn heavy!
Don't speak German? No worries, you'll learn lol. |

I absolutely love them. They have a new album on the way. |

IMO it's a piece of crap, boring songs with muddy overall tone and absolutely no new ideas. Can't help it, I hate those two albums - they killed the Rammstein I used to love; Sehnsucht and Mutter are on my "Top 10 Best Albums Ever" list.
Then again, almost every single great 90s band that I used to love have failed more or less... Marilyn Manson, Korn, Nine Inch Nails, The Prodigy...

I really can tell you, standing next to the Rammstein stage and watching their flames shot over your head makes you SWEAT! :-) | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
