RATM Live on the BBC

Rage kills it live on the BBC, who obviously are not that familiar with the band. Ironically, I can't swear on TB either, but if I could... I'd remind you that if can't say F***, you can't say F*** the government.

Obviously Tim rocks it as well, love the double melted Ampeg SVT stacks (clean + dirty?). Good to hear some major bass tone on a TV recording!

Lol.... Nice! Geez, it's not as if that song's almost 20 years old... You'd think the the BBC people would have a clue!

And yea, Tim's one of my favorite bass players. I love his style!

Those cabs look kind of burned and vandalised. Is that intentional?

I'd imagined they are burned...

Tim once (at least) lit an American flag on fire while it was laid over his amps...

Also, who knows what else has happened to them, ha ha.

hmm well it's nice to hear the band trying to remind people that they can protest other issues, as well as the music charts. good for them.

...and for god's sake, did the DJ have to say, 'let's get Christmassy!' just before they played, i mean really...

Timmy's bass tone is much more crunchy here than on the original release as well. Did he always use SVTs?

Like Rage are going to allow themselves to be limited like that. The uncensored version is pretty cool.

It's even funnier without the censors.

Lol BBC, you expected the same guys who hung an upside down American flag on SNL, and climbed a stage structure at the VMAs, and play **** the police and repeatedly light things on fire to not say **** on your radio show because because you asked them not too, their wiki has a whole multi-part section on their concert calamities....How would that song even work without that section?

I guess the DJ didn't expect it but someone had to know. A band who is vehemently anti-censorship and who wants to play a song with the word **** in it like 20 times on air. The Brits can't possibly be that oblivious.
