Funky Dealer, a song with a bassline that makes you want to jump up and rip off your shirt like Flea.

Although those were synthesized bass lines, there are still techniques and certain creative approaches to structuring bass lines that can be learned from these tracks. |

You leave the first area for the main world and you are treated with some normal, jazzy music, that all of the sudden breaks out in 11/8 (I had to count it because I was tapping my toe then WTFUDGE!). The first town also has some music that breaks down into a bar of 5/8, followed by a bar of 6/8 then a couple bars of 8/8.
I had never heard a music depart from 4/4, it was pretty killer.

The synth basslines from the first Pokemon games were great. Quote:

It has some KILLER synthesized slap bass lines. Some of the lines are fast, crazy, and complex. It would probably take a really long time and a lot of skill to be able to play this manually...at least for me.
Not only was the music super-action-packed, but the game was loads of fun!
