Hi everybody!
As you can see I haven't been around for a while now. So I'll tell some background about my material. I've been making a living out of music for some years with a cheap ska-punk band (zero musicality). Things ended very badly (we sued our singer -who happens to play the clown at a famous, also cheap ska-punk band-). Anyway we got something out of it: great exposure (we toured Europe and the Americas a lot) and contacts. On the musical part we were very unhappy.
So we started a new band. After some time thinking of getting a singer I started composing the vocal parts (which I had been doing for 20 years in previous bands, even being the singer in one) and finally I took vocal duties permanently. And from january to march 2009 we recorded an album with a well known producer from Madrid (Spain, where we reside). We're starting work on promotion by now.
Ok, now, music. It's a very HxC oriented kind of rock. It's VERY vocal (yeah, there's vocals all around, I know). Personally, speaking of modern bands, I'm a fan of Billy Talent, A Wilhelm Scream, Killswitch Engage, Coheed&Cambria, NUFAN (just to pick 5). We're a 2 guitars, bass & drums lineup. Amazingly enough (and thanx to our vocal coach) we're managing to make it sound pretty decent for live performance. I can play and sing all you hear at the same time. It's called Bitter Mambo and the LP is 14 songs and some 36 minutes long. The longest song is 3:40 minutes. The shortest is 2:15.
So, check it out and let me know. I trust TalkBass' opinion more than almost any other.
