Reassuring Imperfections

Sometimes I get a little frustrated that my playing isn't as clean as I'd like it to be (fretbuzz, string sliding, etc.), but then I hear some isolated bass tracks and realize a lot of imperfections just get covered by other sounds in a track.

Anyone else have this experience?
