Hi,

have there been any recent metal CDs with good bass playing? (no death, black, or nu-metal...I'm totally burned out on that stuff)

thanks!

Been revisting prog metal, some bands within the past 5 years having interesting/challenging lines - Spiral Architect, Pagans mind, SymphonyX, Angra....that cynic album still rocks even if its like 12 yrs old

The bass work won't blow your mind, but the new Arch Enemy album "Operation Doomsday" is pretty good.
