Ok, heres the run down.
I've been a metal head all of my life. Even as an infant my mom played metal with me around. Maybe thats why I've never had a headache.

Well anyway.

Whats some good rock/alternative rock with some awesome bass in it?

thanks.

King Crimson.

Albums - Start out with the album "Red" - you will not be disappointed - and it has the meanest P-bass tone on planet earth, bar none.

Those guys influenced some of the heavy music that you probably already listen to..

Thumbs up

For alternative rock bass you can't get better than Incubus and Rage Against The Machine...but you probably want more obscure stuff than that right?

Well I know the well known RATM and Chili Peppers and the like.

but yea, something a little more obscure.

Bands like Jet are alright, but modern rock gets better than that... i hope. Right?

Death From Above 1979 - Bass/synths and drums.

fIREHOSE - Mr Machinery Operator - Mike Watt is pretty much some sort of super human. If My real Dad wasn't so cool I would wish that Mike Watt was my dad.

You probably already know Jane's Addiction but if you don't then go buy Ritual de lo Habitual and Nothing's shocking right now.
