Recommend me some jazz guitarists?

So recently, I haven't been able to get enough of Joe Pass, Wes Montgomery, Pat Metheny, cats like them (I've forgiven them for the instrument they play because of how well they play it ). Only problem is I literally can't get enough of them. So who else should I check out that can measure up?

John McLaughlin, though he may be considered more a fusion player.

Which George Benson?
FWIW, the 1st Jazz album I bought was Bad Benson...for some reason, the very decent FM-Rock station we had at the time (1975) would play a couple of cuts from this record.
The rhythm section on this CTI recording is stellar, too-
Kenny Barron-electric piano...plays some beautiful solos
Steve Gadd-drums
Phil Upchurch-rhythm guitar (a master at it!) & electric bass on "Full Compass"
Ron Carter-acoustic bass

Suggested listening from Bad Benson-
"Take Five"
"My Latin Brother"
"Full Compass"

Check out Extrapolation...his debut album(IIRC).
A great example of "British Jazz"...with the great John Surman on horns!

Check out the last issue of Downbeat Magazine. They did a whole section on guitar players.

Martino has forgotten more about Jazz guitar than most!
(Pun intended)

Check out his work on "Impressions" from Consciousness.

IMO thats not such a great record of his. For my money, his stuff in the 1980's was his best.
