Recommend Some Good Bands/Records that feature Bass VI/Baritone Guitar Prominently.

Genre is irrelevant except I'm not really looking bands for that tune down 7 string guitars to A. I got my fill of that during the Nu-Metal era.

I've been digging on Duane Eddy's Rebel Rouser lately but I'm also looking for new/newish bands and recordings that feature Bass VI and Baritone Guitar prominently,...maybe in a lead/rhythm role.

Brokeback (Thrill Jockey), especially on "Field Recordings From The Cook County Water Table"...upright & Bass VI. Warning: it is mellow and I often listen to it as I'm falling asleep, but I've love this album for years.

"Wichita Lineman" by Glen Campbell is one of the best songs ever written and the guitar lead is played on a 6-string baritone guitar and I believe, by Glen himself.

Possibly also the lead on "Galveston" (also by Glen Campbell), though I'm not sure on that.

I know you wanted new material but those songs are some classics worth checking out.

Angelo Badalamenti made heavy use of baritone guitar in his tracks for David Lynch and Julee Cruise.

Also not new, but present on cuts on Marshall Crenshaw's albums Mary Jean and 9 Others, and Good Evening.

Very forward on 'Calling Out For Love (At Cryin' Time)"

John Lennon played a Fender Bass VI on some cuts off The Beatles' Let It Be album...can't remember which one(s), but it's prominent in the movie.

As already said THE CURE most notably used in their hit "Boys Don't Cry".
Robert loves the hell out of it he likes to use effects to make it stand out even more on some stuff. Look for sure at their Pornography album.
