Well, today is my birthday and my mother-in-law got me a cd. She gave me Art Garfunkel's 'Some Enchanted Evening'. Now don't get me wrong here. I like Art Garfunkel but I don't always get into these pop artists that do late-career jazz standard albums (Rod Stewart, etc.).

It is also not what I am really into at the moment. The last album I purchased (my gift to myself) was Rush's Snakes and Arrows. But I am by no means limited to current pop/rock. I like country (old school), metal, jazz, classical (contemporary and classic). I even have Kelly Clarkson's 'Breakaway' .

I would like some suggestions from my fellow TBers on what album to get when I make the exchange. Let me know what YOU think. Any and all suggestions will be considered. I'll let you know what I buy, but you have to trust me because I won't post a pic .

How about an old Miles Davis CD? Or a Yes, David Bowie, older Rush, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Johnny Lang, Eric Clapton, Dream Theater. There is soo much to choose from

I have lots of Miles Davis and Rush spanning the decades. I have never gotten into Dream Theatre and am not familiar with their music. I'll take that into consideration. Yes, there is sooo much to choose from.

More suggestions, please.

Folsom Prison may just be the winner; I need a new one. But keep 'em coming.

Yeah, it's a great album. I have been enjoying it. Jackson and Greystone Chapel are just priceless...heck, the whole thing is but I really love those two. Thanks.
