Recording in rehersal room

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi, everyone!

I've got this problem. Namely, I've put together a new band, and we have written some songs already and would like to record them. But we don't want to go to the studio unless we are sure that everyone is 101% satisfied and everything is perfect. So we want to analyze it a bit, hear it from the audience's point of view.
So, any suggestions how to record in the rehersal room? We need to record acoustic drums, bass amp, guitar amp and vocals. we also posess a mixer. I already thought of a tape recorder in a corner, but then I thought the quality will be below any acceptance. Basically we could just plug our instruments to the mixer and use a laptop to record away, but the biggest issues are the drums. And we don't have any drum mics.

So, any help is welcome!
