Recording session video

Hello TB'ers,
I put a short video up on youtube of my band's recording session for our upcoming CD. I hope you will take 2 minutes to check it out. The enginerr is Bill Doss from The Apples in Stereo. We recorded it in Athens, GA at The Bakery. We recorded to 2" tape into protools. I am thrilled with the results. I am playing a Univox 'Lectra bass (tuned A-D-G-C) and you will see Jeff Rieter playing his Kydd EUB....We don't need no stinkin' g*****s! I would love to hear your feedback

Sounds like a Charlie Hunter tune, so I dig it!

That's a lovely recording mate!

Dig the whole big band vibe. Nice horns, and lovely riffage.

Cool, you should be chuffed with that result!

Thanks

Thanks for checking it out! We had some world class folks work on the CD.

It was Mixed by Matt Yelton who does front of house engineering for The Pixies.

It was mastered by Rodney Mills whose credits are too numerous to name. you should google his name.
