On occasion I'll record some clips of a particular bass with a particular type of pickups that I upload to Youtube.
Nothing fancy, I just record with my Fuji Finepix J10 digital camera with built in mic....plug right into my Markbass 2x10 combo...no pedals...and just noodle.
I must say, it sucks playing bass without even a click track or drum track. I should probably spend a little more time in preparation.
Another thing I notice...is you suddenly wonder, What should I even play?
Anyone else feel the same way...anyone finally have that light bulb moment, and you figured out a better method? |
