And what are you listening to instead?

I swear I haven't heard any Flecktones music in months. Very little Weather report too. Most improvisational music for that matter.

My thing now seems to be songwriters. Sting, Badly Drawn Boy and all the brazilian stuff too.

Anyone else?

My collection of progressive rock & fusion LPs - although I do listen a little more to my more eclectic, mixed-genre collection of CDs.

Mostly, I listen to a lot of Internet radio, i.e. various stations on Shoutcast Radio, plus a nearby Internet radio station in New Jersey. I've been listening to a lot of ambient, electronic, groove, worldbeat, psychedelic and trance material. Artists like 302 Acid, Fila Brazillia, Future Sound of London, The Ministry of Inside Things, Robert Rich, Rudy Adrian, etc. Sometimes some Fripp & Eno, Tangerine Dream, etc.

The Beatles. I haven't listened to any of their albums for months(some I probably haven't heard in over a year or so). They have been my favourite band since I was 10 (1992), but I have been on a bit of a Ramones kick of late.

I don't know what it is. I still love the music, but I think the CDs aren't doing it for me anymore. I really think they need to update(remaster) the catalogue.

All my LPs! Haven't heard any of them in 13 years! I need to rearrange my stereo/shelves in living room setup so there's a place for my turntable. That's one of my projects for this summer. I hope it still works!
