My computer seems to not want to play Youtube!
It plays almost everything else,, just not Youtube!
Anyone else have / had this problem?
It's really p*$$ing me off now.
What do they use for sound? Quicktime, Realplayer, or what?

Try going to Control Panel, Internet Options, click on the advanced tab and on the bottom of the page there should be an option to reset the browser to manufacturers specs. I have done this and it always works. This is assuming your version of Windows is fairly recent.

Try another browser like Opera or Firefox (I use Opera). I know, it's a bit extreme for just videos.

I have this problem with Microsoft's web browser. When I use Netscape Navigator it works fine. Something to do with Flash Player and it's not an easy fix.

Try Firefox, even if Utube still doesn't work you'll be better off.

Well, it's beyond me to understand this, but over the weekend I dumped quick time and loaded "QT Alternative."
And Every thing is working (that I've found so far).
What QT had to do with Flash is beyond me!
Adobe was a horror! I couldn't dump the whole program to try different versions (Thinking XP compatibility issues).
Anyways, it's working fine and I'm even more confused as to why.
