its called "thank you for not moshing". they call it "in the pit" on their live cd because its not the full song.

it was on 1998's "why do they rock so hard", track 6.

good song.

When im in the pit...im gonna punch and kick!

yeah its off the why do they rock so hard album and also some best of albums..."thank you for not moshing"

basically that album and the one before it- "turn the radio off" are the best albums they did (so far)

well their live cd, "Our Live Album Is Better Then Your Live Album," actually has the full version in which i was talking about. It's called "The Kids Don't Like It/In The Pit."

Man, that backup singer/trumpet player/rhythm guitar player is amazing!

those are two songs stuck together.... yeah scott's a pretty talented dude, my old work use to set up their gear when they were on tour in australia in the 90's...i remember being at some pretty awesome hotel parties with them back when all 7 members were in the band. havent seen them in years though!

Yeah. 'The Kids Don't Like It' is track 13 on 'Why Do They Rock So Hard'. 'Thank You For Not Moshing' is track 6.

They play 'The Kids Don't Like It', and then segue into the first verse of 'Thank You For Not Moshing'. They throw in an extended breakdown (Aaron - "Another sweet breakdown!"). But it is two tracks stuck together.

I'm going to see them live for the third time in a couple of weeks. I'm excited.

Lol glad to see other people that really dig this band. I think this was the first band that I ever really got into. If it weren't for these guys I don't think I'd be listening much rock at all. I know their a ska band but they led me into everything else, lol. Kinda backwards, but its what happened

I think he has a side project where he is the front-man.

Lord knows the guy has the talent for it

RBF was the best live show I've seen...so tight, so awesome.

It doesn't hurt that the songs are painfully catchy (if I hear "Ban The Tube Top", it's in my head for a week, guaranteed).

i am in the exact same boat, before i was listening to 80's glam and metal and rbf really got me on the 90's socal punk/ska bandwagon and i havent fallen off the wagon since!

Yep, I can say that "Sell Out" got me into the whole punk/ska thing, and I haven't turned back. In fact, I heard "Sell Out" over the speakers at a restaurant tonight and made all my friends shut up to listen to it. Surprisingly, a few even started singing along.

Is that the one from the "Show Must Go Off" series? If so, yes, and it is an excellent performance, though not quite as energetic as I'd usually say they are.

yeah thats the one....the breakdown banter is funny as hell and it was Carlos De la Garza's final show which was good to catch before he moved on. I'm still looking for Goldfinger's dvd from the same series (if anyone has a copy to sell/ pirate please let me know!)
