I was on a plane and switchin' around the mediocre music channels they have and I cam across the music of the world channel and this one song was really catchy! (I also noticed a fellow bassist diagonally to me air bassing to the same tune) Well I was intrigued but the strange sounds and rythm and overall catchyness. I checked the book and saw it was Remmy Ongala, and the song was Kipenda Roho. Theres some really interesting guitar stuff going on in there and it got me intrigued (it actually made ME want to dance) So once I got back from vaca I checked it out. you can hear some smaples here: http://www.sternsmusic.com/discography_detailed/3740
It's pretty awesome, let me know what you all think.
